The Nursery children have returned after the Summer holidays enthusiastically and have enjoyed exploring their new environment.

They have formed new friendships and made the most of the sunshine to use the outside area.

We have been learning about colours using Colour blocks and they have all been able to match classroom objects to the colour of the day.

Nursery have learnt that mixing red and yellow will make orange and also all enjoyed making rice crispy cakes with brown chocolate which is a colour

we all find tricky to remember! There have been lots of discussions about favourite colours and every adult who comes into nursery is interrogated

about their favourite colour. We look forwards to using colour monsters to understand our emotions and how they can be related to colours.
