September photo album

Nursery have been exploring colours this month. We have been trying hard to remember all the different colours. We have learnt that red and yellow make orange and that black and white make grey. We listened to stories about Elmer, Brown Bear and Blue Kangaroo. We have also heard about the Colour Monster and have met all the different coloured emotion monsters.

Nursery have been very busy over the last few months learning new skills and having fun with their friends.

We have been learning the name of shapes and how many sides and corners they have with a little rhyme to remind us.We looked for signs of Autumn and went on a bear hunt to discover all the different textures involved.

After half term we talked about Halloween and then we had fun making firework pictures and decorating breadsticks and biscuits.

The last two weeks we have been learning our numbers through a selection of number rhymes and songs. We enjoyed being ducks, monkeys and frogs and buying currant buns from the baker’s shop.

We are now excited about all the Christmas activities that we are going to start this week.
