WW2 DAY

Year 6 have been exploring the daily life of an evacuee during WW2 with a morning at school and an afternoon of budgeting (in pounds, shillings and pence) on their very own street market using their ration cards.

Shelter Day

After learning how civilians took cover during the 'Blitz' the year 6 children applied design and technology skills to create a plan for an Anderson Shelter model, then moving onto using the sawing and joining skills to build their very own model.
