    Safer Internet Day takes place in February of each year to raise awareness of a safer and better internet for all, and especially for children and young people.

    As part of this annual celebration, we encourage everyone - including children and young people, parents and caregivers, teachers and educators, policymakers, industry and others - to join "Together for a better internet". Save the date for Safer Internet Day 2024 which will take place on Tuesday, 6 February 2024.

  • Safer Internet Day

    Safer Internet Day will take place on the 7th of February 2023, with celebrations and learning based around the theme ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’. Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, the celebration sees thousands of organisations get involved to promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.

    Applications for a primary or junior school place starting September 2023 can be made between 7 November 2022 and 15 January 2023.

    All applications received after 15 January 2023 will be treated as late and will only be processed after all on-time applications.

    You are less likely to get a place at one of your preferred schools if you apply late.

    On Tuesday 8th February we will be joining schools and youth organisations across the UK in celebrating Safer Internet Day 2022. Safer Internet Day is a global campaign to promote the safe and responsible use of technology, which calls on young people, parents, carers, teachers, social workers, law enforcement, companies, policymakers and more, to join together in helping to create a better internet.

  • 2021/22 Timetable Consultation

    As a school, we are now working on our organisation for September.  We are hoping that things will be returning to normal (if any of us can remember what that was).  'Covid' has changed many things in how schools are organised e.g., staggered days, lessons, eating and playing in bubbles.  Several positives have come out of these changes that we will be continuing with in September e.g., wearing PE kit to school on PE days.

     

    One of the major changes we made was school finishing after lunch on Fridays.  This was to enable teachers to have their statutory planning, preparation and assessment time.  This has worked very well and we are considering keeping this in place for September.
