Pupil Premium Statement 2015-2016
Northwick Park Primary and Nursery Academy - Pupil Premium Report
The Pupil Premium is a grant which is allocated to schools and is allocated on the number of children entitled to receive free school meals or have been entitled at any point in the preceding six years. Schools are allowed to spend their Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) in any way they think will best support the raising of children’s attainment. At Northwick Park the Head Teacher and Governing Body, in consultation with teachers and support staff, decide how best to spend the Pupil Premium in order to improve provision and outcomes for children.
At Northwick Park we aim to provide the very highest standards of education for all children. We have used PPG to provide additional support to accelerate the progress of all individual and groups of children.
We aim to raise the achievement of all pupils eligible for the Pupil Premium so that their performance is at least in line with their non-Pupil Premium peers nationally.
We also use PPG to address inequalities, fund projects and activities for the benefit of all children e.g., visiting speakers, developing Forest Schools, subsidising all school trips, enhanced ICT provision.
