PARENTS/CARERS MEETINGS
It has been lovely that so many parents/carers were able to join us for the meetings: Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 RSE meetings, Year 2 SAT meetings, Year 1 Phonics meetings and Year 6 residential meeting. I do hope you found these sessions helpful.
FOREST SCHOOL
Years 1, 3 and 5 have had their Forest School sessions. They have really enjoyed using the new resources that we purchased using the money raised last term by the sponsored pancake tossing. Thank you for your generosity. I hope the Year 3 and Year 5 parents/carers who were able to join their children for a Forest School session had a great time.

YEAR 6 ASSEMBLY
On 29th April, Year 6 were very fortunate to have an assembly delivered by the police. The theme of the assembly was ‘Respect’. Children learnt how to respect all types of people in our community. They also learnt about taking responsibility for their own actions and how making the wrong choices can have consequences. It was a most informative session which also looked at the impact of anti-social behaviour.
APRIL EVENTS
What an exciting start to the term! Year 6 had a wonderful day at Harry Potter World, Year 1 have enjoyed Circus Day and a visit from Eden Oasis and their mini beasts! Year 4 have started their swimming lessons at Waterside. A letter with all the dates for the second half of term has been emailed to you.
