Summer
The Year 6 children at Northwick Park had a wonderful afternoon at the Deanes' panathlon and finished the afternoon with a silver medal! Well done to everyone who took part!
The children in Year 6 had a very busy start to the Summer term to prepare for their SATS. The children worked incredibly hard and should be very proud of themselves. Every morning, the children were invited to have breakfast with their friends and they were rewarded with a special treat at the end of the week!
This half term we have focused on creating a range of art and DT projects to showcase during open evening. The children have enjoyed designing and making Harry Potter themed wands, creating mandrakes, and producing their own interpretations of Medusa during our unit of work on Ancient Greece. We enjoyed a treat from Mrs Lane, the marvellous magician who amazed us all with his amazing tricks.
Currently, the children are very busy learning their lines and practising their parts for the Year 6 Production. The backdrop and props that will be included have also been made by us. We hope you are looking forward to watching our performance of the Pirates of the Curry Bean.
