Year 2 were shocked when they discovered that Miss Kemp's classroom had been trashed!

The children were quick to investigate and found many clues relating to farm animals. We also received a letter from Farmer Kiley at Boydells Dairy Farm. He apologised for the animals and said that he is looking forward to us coming to the farm this term.

We had a great time on the farm.

Year 2 kicked off this half term

With our new topic ‘How does your garden grow?’ The children were surprised to find out that our special visitor was in fact Mrs Lane. She showed the children some photos of her garden and the wide range of flowers and plants that she grows there. She also explained how she has learnt many things about plants and has now become a gardening expert. Mrs Lane has challenged the children to learn as much as they can about plants and to see if they can create their own seed packet by the end of the half term.
